This Privacy Policy explains how Advanced Systems for Researches and Digitalization ("MoveNoww," "we," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the MoveNoww Rider app, the MoveNoww Driver app, and related MoveNoww web pages and services.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as your name, phone number, email address, profile details, app role, and driver or vehicle information when applicable.
- Driver verification information, including images and details from a driver's licence, vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration, such as document numbers, licence class, expiry dates, licence plate, and vehicle identification number (VIN).
- Location information, including precise location used for pickup, drop-off, route guidance, driver availability, active trips, safety, and live trip status.
- Trip and delivery information, such as pickup and destination addresses, route details, trip status, fare information, delivery recipient details, ratings, and support history.
- Payment information, such as payment status, Stripe customer or payment method identifiers, payout status, and transaction records. We do not store full card numbers.
- Device and app information, such as device identifiers, notification tokens, app version, crash data, diagnostics, and security logs.
- Communications you send to us or to other users through support, trip, delivery, or account features.
How We Use Information
- To create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and provide rider, driver, trip, delivery, and admin features.
- To verify driver and vehicle eligibility, support authorized document review, and prevent unapproved or expired driver accounts from accepting trips.
- To match riders with drivers, calculate routes and fares, show live trip progress, and send service notifications.
- To process payments, driver payouts, refunds, balances, and related records through payment service providers.
- To provide customer support, investigate safety issues, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
- To maintain, debug, improve, and protect the apps, including analytics, diagnostics, and service reliability.
Location Information
MoveNoww uses location data to provide transportation and delivery services. The Driver app collects precise location while a driver is online or on an active trip, including when the app is closed or not in use. On Android, an ongoing notification indicates when driver location tracking is active. Driver background location supports ride matching, dispatch, rider ETAs, navigation, safety, and live trip progress, and stops when the driver goes offline. The Rider app may use precise location while the app is in use for pickup, active trip tracking, safety, and trip sharing. You can manage app location permissions in your device settings, but some features may not work without location access.
Payments
Payment processing is handled by Stripe and other payment service providers where available. MoveNoww may receive payment status, payment method identifiers, payout records, and transaction details needed to run the service, but full card numbers are handled by the payment provider.
How We Share Information
- With riders, drivers, and delivery participants as needed to complete trips, deliveries, pickups, drop-offs, communications, and support.
- With service providers that help operate MoveNoww, including Firebase, Google Maps Platform, hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, notification, and payment providers.
- With law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud.
- In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Retention and Deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide MoveNoww, maintain safety and security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and keep business records. You can permanently delete your account from the Profile screen in either app. You can also submit a request through our account deletion page. Account profiles, authentication credentials, stored notification tokens, messages, driver document images and profile details, and saved payment methods are deleted as part of this process. Some minimized trip, payment, payout, tax, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal records may be retained where required or permitted by law. Retained records are not used to restore access to a deleted app account.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
MoveNoww is not directed to children under 13. Drivers must meet all local eligibility, licensing, and legal requirements before using driver features.
International Transfers
Information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you live. When this happens, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
